As part of Siobhan Davies Studios’ ten year anniversary celebrations, Siobhan Davies and Studios architect Sarah Wigglesworth are joined by Research Fellow in Architecture at the Royal College of Art and Director of Theatrum Mundi, Adam Kaasa, to discuss the story of the Studios’ inception and the role of architecture in making places for people. Tracing back to the first aspirations for the building and how this unique space came into being, the talk considers the Studios’ contribution as a space for supporting making, thinking and engagement with the arts community and wider public.

The 2016 London Festival of Architecture (LFA) celebrates London as a global hub of architecture. The theme of the London Festival of Architecture 2016 is “Community”, and the festival aims to connect with as many people as possible to demonstrate architecture’s relevance to London and its diverse communities. The festival programme features exhibitions and events organised by London’s leading architectural, cultural and academic institutions alongside architects, designers, curators and community groups from around the UK. London Festival of Architecture runs from 1 – 30 June.
